Use a sample to answer a written set of product, packaging and evidence questions before a larger-order decision. A sample is not automatic proof of production consistency, regulatory status or suitability for a health condition.

Pre-quote and pre-sample checklist

Start with the decision the sample must support. A visual sample may confirm appearance and pack presentation, while a functional sample may need the same mechanism, controls, rated input, US plug, accessories and instructions proposed for the order. If a substitute is sent, record every difference and do not treat its observations as approval of the quoted model.

Assign an owner for each check and set a review date. Procurement can coordinate the list, but the buyer determines whether technical, safety, compliance, regulatory or professional assessment is also needed.

  • Product and specification: proposed model identifier; requested massage mechanism; foot coverage and usable dimensions; control behavior; power input and plug; included accessories; surface, cleaning and warning questions.
  • Quantity and US destination: sample units by variant; pieces or sets for the intended order; set contents; retail and carton pack goals; destination; freight responsibility and sample disposition.
  • Packaging, documents and timing: artwork status; label and manual version; claim restrictions; exact-model evidence list; approvers; due date; open deviations and the quotation revision linked to the sample.

Photographs, measurements, control observations, included items and received documents can be logged against the approved checklist. Note the sample identifier, supplier, date received and related quotation revision. Describe observable results without converting them into medical or performance claims.

An optional budget may be compared only when its currency and per-unit or full-order basis are clear. High-end, mid-range, budget or undecided is the buyer's preference, not a verified supplier grade.

Confirm per quoted model

  • Specification and packaging: whether the production proposal matches the sampled mechanism, controls, dimensions, input, plug, accessories, labels and pack construction.
  • Documents and delivery responsibility: which files apply to the exact proposed model; who controls artwork; whether sample, testing, tooling, freight or destination charges are included.
  • Unresolved items: sample deviations, alternative parts, claim review, production consistency plan, inspection approach and the named buyer approver for each decision.
